i am still in need of more color. yet i have no regrets. tomorrow i am going here. i have been a big fan of these wonderful french espadrille fabrics (still made on original looms in france) for years. this store opened in the last year in nyc. lovely. so many possibilities. life depends upon possibility, n'est-ce pas?
That looks like a fun shop to visit. I like espadrille's, but then it is hard to stop wearing sandals because for the most part we can wear them almost all year round out here in California. Although today might be a cold day, well for us what we consider cold and so I might actually wear real shoes.
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to try the Spinach Garlic Pasta, but everyone else is scared to try it. I have a funny feeling they do not know what they are missing. Those grandkids of mine are just too fussy. Sigh.
God bless.
I would love to join you on that field trip. Sadly though 1) I live in L.A. 2) I quickly determined that my house can accommodate only so many stripes. Maybe someday I will post the ones I DO have around. Another company that does similar such "toiles rayes" are Artiga. I bought some beautiful raspberry pink, chocolate milk, turquoise stripes from them and still have done nothing with them. (Sad face.) Let us know what you come home with!
ReplyDeleteOn 19th Street, of course. All good things are on or around 19th Street. As everyone would agree.
